Report a correction

This is the most useful mail we get. Please include the address of the page, what it currently says, and what you believe it should say. If you have a source — a government notice, an official announcement — include that too and the fix takes minutes rather than days.

Useful categories are: time-zone or DST correction; city name or coordinates; sunrise, sunset or twilight data; prayer or Ramadan calculation; event date or source; API or widget problem; and general technical issue.

Before you write about a wrong time

One check first, because it resolves most reports: if every time on the site looks shifted by the same amount, the device clock is the cause rather than the site. Turning on automatic date and time on the device usually settles it. If only one city is wrong, that is ours and we want to hear about it.

Everything else

Questions, suggestions for cities or tools to add, licensing, and press enquiries all go to the same address. We cannot give legal, financial or religious rulings, and we cannot confirm the start of Ramadan for your area — your local committee decides that, not a calculation.
