Ramadan 2027 in Nigeria

Sehri and Iftar in Nigeria

There is no single iftar clock time for Nigeria. Among the bundled cities, sunset is 6:02 pm in Kano and 6:28 pm in Lagos today. Each city page uses its own coordinates and time zone.

Those sunset events occur 25 minutes apart even though the bundled cities use one current civil UTC offset. The difference comes from where the cities sit relative to the sun, not from a change of clock.

Sunrise-to-sunset daylight also varies across the listed cities by about 13 minutes today. This is useful seasonal context, not a fasting-duration figure: the fast begins at Fajr before sunrise.

The site’s planning date for Ramadan 2027 is 8 February 2027. Local authorities may confirm a different first day according to the practice followed in Nigeria, so use that announcement for observance.

This timetable uses the Karachi prayer calculation setting. The calculation notes explain how the site handles Fajr, Isha and unusual daylight conditions, so that general methodology is not repeated on every location page.
