What Saudi National Day is

Marks the 1932 royal decree that unified the Hejaz and Nejd into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under Abdulaziz Ibn Saud.

It is one of the few Saudi holidays fixed to the Gregorian calendar rather than the Hijri one, so its date does not move.
